Red Parrot’s Feather (Myriophyllum brasiliensis) is a South American floating plant that is known for its fluffy texture & bright red stems. This hardy plant propagates quickly and can provide shade to areas of the aquarium. which will encourage more reclusive species to come out of hiding. This is a truly beautiful and very beneficial plants for aquariums with gentle to moderate water flow. It can also be bunched and planted in the substrate. This dwarf species typically grows to 3-4 inches (7.6 – 10.2 cm)

Care is extremely easy for Dwarf Red Parrot’s Feather. It can thrive in a relatively wide pH range as well as moderate to high lighting. possibly even low lighting. Under these simple conditions. it will multiply very quickly & provide significant denitrification as well as oxygenation. which is particularly important in aquariums with low water flow. It does not require CO2 supplementation.
